It’s time for the nightlife of Melbourne to "REASCEND" with an Old School vs New School End of Exams party at the iconic Brown Alley Nightclub

RECOIL Melbourne and The Ascension proudly present “REASCEND” A night dedicated to bringing back the golden era of Melbourne nightlife whilst showcasing some of the best artists Victoria has to offer across all underground genres!

Let’s introduce our headliners!

GEARDY - An OG in the scene, solidifying his place as one of Melbourne's great acts, Hanging up the headphones close to 5 years ago, however we’ve brought him BACK for this once in a life time experience.

ALAVATE - Another KING of the scene in Melbourne for the last 6 years, playing at some of the biggest events supporting some of the greatest artists, it’s safe to say you all know who this man is and he shows no sign of slowing down any time soon!

Lastly, we decided that putting these guys together is exactly what we envision when we say “Old School vs New School”

KONTROL vs ZIGGYJ - Both of these guys have played at many huge events over the years but never together and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for you guys!

We also have some of THE BEST supporting artists along the likes of MIR, Ozzy Hulmes and many, many more INCLUDING a second room almost solely dedicated to the commercial genres with Kayla Bruno dropping an insane 2hr solo set!

Students can also show their student ID for cheaper entry at the door.
